About Us

Weno Webdesign is a web site design and development company run by husband/wife team, James and Heather Clark. Between us we have designed over 75 sites and developed applications using a variety of technologies.

Founded in 1997, the mission of Weno Webdesign is to provide customized technology solutions for organizations about whose objectives and missions we feel strongly. Our goal is an accessible user experience, no matter the connection speed, browser or operating system.

Staff

James Clark handles programming, custom module creation, system design, architecture, and server administration. James has over 13 years experience in web site development and possesses a master's degree in computer information systems. He has extensive experience selecting, building and working with content management systems.While at Kirkwood Community College, James co-wrote a content management system that is still in use today. He also aided in a process to select and purchase a commercial CMS for use at Cornell, and managed the migration process from the static site to this new system. Heather Clark is primarily responsible for account management, project management, requirements analysis, documentation, and handles all administrative functions. She is the point person for client communication. Heather has over 13 years professional experience in web site design and development. Additionally, she is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. The two share the work when it comes to usability, accessibility, design, styling/theming, system configuration, search engine optimization and analytics.
